Life is Good

I haven't posted anything in the longest time. It's not because I don't have 5 minutes to post something, but because I feel like there's nothing worthwhile to write or anything that would slightly appeal to anyone who might read this. I've done a lot of rethinking about the past few month and past two years and it's been a good journey and some fun things have happened so here's what I've been up to the last few months.

KYMRI'S MISSION CALL!
Kymri- sooo nervous!

First, one of my absolute greatest friends got her mission call! As selfish as I am and don't want her to go, I couldn't be happier for her and know this is where she is supposed to be right now. We had fun passing time until she could open the call with her family. Kymri will be leaving August 1st to serve in the Raleigh, North Carolina mission! I am so excited for her and she will be a totally fun and INCREDIBLE missionary! Those people in N. Carolina are so lucky to have her!

Marianne's Wedding!
The other part of our trio got married! Woo hoo! Marianne looked GORGEOUS and glowed the entire day! All of the wedding festivities were so much fun, and being a bridesmaid was a blast! I am so happy for Mare & Andrew. They couldn't be more perfect for each other!

After the wedding dinner!

Mr & Mrs Nicoll
Love them!!

At the reception they had the bench where Andrew and Marianne had their first kiss and they labelled it "The Kissing Bench". This is Kymri filling in for Stan my man until he gets home :)

GIRLS CAMP
I also went to girls camp at the beginning of June. My whole family was up there which was a lot of fun! Camp couldn't have been any more perfect! I was a YCL mom with wonderful Michel Fluhr and it was EXHAUSTING! I never thought I could be so emotionally/spiritually/physically drained as I was. But it was worth every ounce of energy because the girls were so much fun and we all came home with a better understanding of who we truly are and can be! We had the cutest Dr. Seuss theme and the whole thing turned out to be amazing!

On a side note- I've discovered the most incredible leg workout... bounce a crying baby who refuses to fall asleep! I bounced a baby for a solid 45 minutes tonight and will not be surprised when my legs are sore tomorrow. Lets just say I'm crossing my fingers that my babies prefer rocking over bouncing :)

Cute kids I babysat

Last but not least- I sent my very last letter to the infamous Elder Shields, got my last e-mail, letter, and even a surprise package from him! I am so glad this thoughtful boy of mine thought it would be really important to pay a Muslim man to write our names in Arabic together on a scroll. He seriously cracks me up. He will start traveling Spain with his parents and Carson in just 2 days and then I get to see him in 10!! I am feeling soooo many emotions but I promise to dedicate my entire next post just to that :) I am so anxious and excited to see him and love him to pieces!
